When
my sister Marin was born, I thought that the world was going to
be better forever, but I was wrong. Learning that my sister had
a birth defect threw off the whole scenario of life. It was hard
to look at my sister in a giant incubator with cords all over the
place, but when she grabbed on to my hand, I knew that there was
some happiness.
Marin first came home the day before my birthday, but she had to
go back so many times. I would love her with all of my heart. She
was truly, my sunshine.
